OK, so this is my first blog. Actually, the VERY first one was funnier but I messed up before I got to save it, so this is just the frustrated-tired-of-doing-this post.
So for those of you millions of voyeurs out there wondering "what is this 'Pine Canyon Homeschool'"? and "how does she do it?" The answer is "I don't know". So read on (if I think of something to say, that is).
We think our school name is pretty catchy. We even have a logo and if I ever figure out how to upload it, I will.
Ok, now I'm getting the hang of this! Here's Natalie, with her new kitty Shadow. We LOVE Shadow, because he is Olivia-proof! He lets the kids lug him all over the house and smother him, and put him in strollers and baskets.
Here's Olivia, I've never seen her and Natalie so excited as when we got them their very own kitty! They could not believe it was actually all theirs. They've actually done a great job of taking care of him, too (even scooping poop every day!)
Here's Natalie, doing her reading. She's on "Pilgrim Boy" in the ABeka Readers. Boy, she looks smart, doesn't she?!
This is what we did today - planets. It was for Olivia's curriculum but Natalie liked doing it too.
Below is Natalie's map of the Great Lakes, using Beautiful Feet (book 1, Paddle to the Sea)
And here's Olivia's. They both liked the book, but were not crazy about coloring the maps. Still, they turned out pretty good.
Stupid blog!!!!
